Life Threatening Illness for Reiki Practitioners Workshop
This workshop aims to provide additional training for reiki practitioners to provide Reiki to patients on their health journey, e.g. in palliative care, nursing homes, undergoing cancer treatment, and in other healthcare settings.
Reiki in healthcare is well-established in the UK and parts of the USA.
Reiki is now recognized as an important complementary therapy within the UK’s National Health Service (NHS), with a growing number of health professionals acknowledging the importance of a more integrated, holistic approach to patient care.
Raven Keyes, before her passing, worked tirelessly to train practitioners and collaborate with renowned medical professionals such as Dr. Mehmet Oz and Dr. Sheldon Feldman to introduce Reiki into operating rooms (especially for heart-related surgeries) and cancer treatment centres. She also contributed to research aimed at demonstrating the efficacy of Reiki in these settings.

Alexandra has been running courses to train Reiki practitioners on delivering Reiki in healthcare environments. She has extensive experience in this field over the past decade, particularly in Victoria. Alexandra has kindly offered to come to Tasmania to deliver a foundational course for Reiki practitioners wishing to offer Reiki as a complementary therapy for patients on their healing journey.
